Service and atmosphere of the restaurant are great, and the food does taste good but to me wasn't outstanding enough to justify the price or long wait time. The drunken noodles were flavorful but way too oily and honestly hard to eat (def do not recommend if you are ordering separately/non family style). I tried some of my friends' curry orders and liked them overall. They are served as sliced meat with curry sauce rather than having the meat stewed in the curry, which I feel is somewhat unusual. I think it is a decent restaurant and would recommend, but maybe not to those who prefer affordable home-style Thai food. To me it feels kind of like a "fancier" restaurant with a lot of style and serviceable food.

Came here with my family and ordered chicken satay, papaya salad, pad see ew, khao soi, green curry, and yellow curry. Everything was absolutely delicious, 10/10 for taste, thoroughly enjoyed everything. Expect long wait times but you can join the waitlist online.

First time here and it was stellar! Everything from the host, to the servers all working together to ensure a seamless guest experience, to the excellent quality and taste of the food, to the topnotch presentation. I felt appreciated and valued all through my experience. I ordered the Hanuman Fried Rice and it was perfect and plentiful. I chose to sit outside and enjoyed the weather. They have a very small, tight inside dining area. I arrived by 3:45, thankfully so, as the lines started forming soon after and I heard the wait can be an hour or more. It's definitely worth it, but if you're hungry, make sure you plan accordingly. Plenty of free parking although it could get busy as it's shared with other businesses. Overall, I highly recommend this upscale Thai restaurant!

Overall, the meal was very good. Service was attentive and quick once we were seated, though it took over an hour to get a table in the restaurant. It is a little bit pricey, but the food is very good. Only minor disappointment was the Green Papaya Salad. It lacked flavor and texture. We’ve had better Green Papaya salads at other restaurants, including Little Sister in Irvine. Notable dishes were: Fried chicken (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside with lots of very good flavoring) Khao-Soi (Thai version of Laksa. Pleasantly surprised by this dish. Rich and full of flavor.) The mango sticky rice dessert was OK. Probably won’t get it again. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant. We will probably return and try additional new dishes. Enjoy & Stay Tuned! Update: We dined again at Hanuman and the food was still delicious. I would like to note that the Crying Tiger dish was delicious but disappointing as the amount was too small and was prepared differently than what is shown on the online menu. Fried chicken is still their best dish. We also tried ordering a Pork Jowl (house special) dish from their affiliated Japanese restaurant next-door. It too was delicious

This place was fantastic. The food was phenomenal, the staff was friendly and accountable, and the drinks were very good. Will definitely be coming back. Here's what we ordered along with what I thought of it: Hanuman's Ceviche: 9/10 very good, just wanted more of it Thai Sausages: 10/10 very good, plenty to share Pad See Ew: 10/10 my personal favorite and will be reordering Drunken Noodle: 8/10 a good contender if you like spicy and a drier noodle Massaman: 10/10 a great option for steak and curry lovers Khao Soi: 7/10 this may be an unpopular opinion, I though the flavor was crazy and very good, it was just very very rich, I could only have a few bites of it Fried Chicken and Sticky Rice: 9/10 Coco Mango cocktail: 10/10 has a great thick consistency, I'm not a huge fan of coconut but this was kind of like a mango colada Lost in Samui cocktail: 10/10 this drink was delicious, love the pandan and very refreshing A note on both of the cocktails, the alcohol in them was not very strong at all, so next time I would just order the mocktail for half the price. I added my group to the waitlist online about 30min prior to us meeting there. After we checked in, it did take about 15-20mi
